Thread PVC Fitting Mould
As an injection mould company and injection mold manufacturer, Go4Mould not only has thread pvc fitting mould and pipe fitting mould for those who want to buy plastic mould from China at a competitive price, on time delivery, and with professional service. We are responsible for the success of our clients by providing fine quality pvc thread fitting moulds of perfect design, which allow them to invest freely because they know that we are the reason for their success.
This site makes it easy for you to find the right thread pvc fitting mould. Below, you can decide if injection molding is right for you and what kind of mould to use based on the design and material that you would like to use.
1. Describe Thread PVC Fitting Mould.
Using thread pvc fitting mould, you can join two parts of plastic tubing mechanically. In manufacturing, it is a device that has the shape of the desired final product. Using this process we can contain pressures greater than 100 pounds per square inch (PSI). A threading procedure is also typically used for deep submersible well applications, where long lengths of piping put unusual stress on them.

2. Find Out which Materials Go4Mould Uses to Manufacture Thread PVC Fitting Mould.
When Go4Mould is involved, selecting materials isn’t a problem. Our team examines different materials and gives you recommendations. However, aluminum, steel, and a metal alloy that contains other metals and ceramics are the most frequently used and most promising materials in terms of life and functioning
3. Why do Thread PVC Fitting Mould Exist?
Liquids and gases are transferred via piping and fittings. Due to this, they require leak-proof threaded connections. Tapered threads can provide better sealing. Female and male threads compress and wedge together tightly.
4. What are the Different Styles of Thread PVC Fitting Mould?
In the PVC fitting industry, there are several different thread styles available. We will now describe some of the common thread styles and how they respond to bending loads. These include the square thread, the buttress thread, and the ACME thread.
- Square Thread
Square threads are commonly used in high-load applications such as leadscrews and jackscrews. They are named due to their square cross-section. Threads with this form have the lowest friction and provide the most efficiency, however, they are difficult to fabricate.
- Buttress Thread
The “buttress threads” produced by some manufacturers are an alternate style of thread profile. Such threads are only suitable for applications where the screw is loaded or stressed in one direction. They boast of the strength of their threads due to the slanting notches. Although these “Buttress” threads have a “V” notch at their roots, they are nevertheless sensitive to bending loads as a result. The strength of these fittings remains significantly reduced as a result.
- ACME Thread
ACME threads are configured without the “V” notch. In addition to providing clearance for piping of all diameters, this thread is strong and contributes to structural integrity. Due to the lack of a “V” notch, ACME threads are less susceptible to bending loads.
High-quality parts with this element of design are less likely to fail because of its high quality. The ACME style thread has the added benefit of “free” and “easy” movement up to proper engagement. With PVC threaded parts, this feature prevents them from “sticking,” “locking,” or “galling.”

5. During the Assembly of a Threaded PVC Fitting Mould, What are the Do’s and Don’t’s?
Millions of miles of plastic piping with thread pvc fitting mould provide reliable, leak-free service today. Despite this, a tiny percentage of these plastic fittings may leak or break. The reason is that the threaded joints are not correctly assembled.
The following are some Dos and Don’ts of PVC joint assembly:
- You should not over-tighten joints by giving them “one more turn to be sure.” Do finger tighten plus one or two turns – no more.
- You should not use Teflon tape or Teflon paste to lubricate or bulk up the joint. Use thread sealant instead.
- If you expect that stronger Schedule 80 fittings will resolve the problem of splitting due to over-tightening, do not use them.
- You should use only Schedule 40 threaded fittings with Schedule 40 pipe and fittings.
- Take care not to overtighten.
- Use finger tightening plus one to two turns.
6. What is the Tightness of Threaded PVC Fitting Mould?
It is recommended you tighten them by hand, and then another one or two turns, but no more. Adding more turns to the fitting will put too much pressure on it and may crack it.
7. Is it Necessary to Glue Thread PVC Fitting Mould?
It is not advisable to use PVC cement for threaded connections because it binds PVC together chemically, destroying the threads. It’s easy to make slip connections, as you just need to push them together! Using cement and PVC primer to make these types of connections permanent is a good idea; both materials go well together
8. Detail the Steps Involved in Threading PVC Pipe.
Step 1: Place the pipe in the vise with the threaded end six to eight inches from the clamping mechanism.
Step 2: A rag should be wrapped around the pipe where it will mate with the clamp mechanism. In this way, the plastic will be protected. Secure the pipe in the vise and don’t overtighten the clamp to avoid cracking it.
Step 3: Insert the tapered arbor into the plastic pipe. Tapered arbors will help keep the manual threader centered and prevent pipe sidewalls from prematurely cracking.
Step 4: Insert the threader first on the smooth surface of the pipe. The threads should face outward and not toward the end of the pipe.
Step 5: Thread the die by hand. Turn the cutter clockwise. Push the end of the die onto the pipe. The threads will begin evenly when you apply hand pressure.
Step 6: Continue threading the pipe using the long handle to rotate the die. Run the threaded portion of the die along the pipe. Once the backside of the die is in line with the end of the pipe, stop threading.
Step 7: Turn the die counterclockwise to remove it. Afterward, clean the new threads
9. What is the Difference Between Male and Female Pipe Fittings?
Whenever the terms Male and Female are used, they refer to the threads on the fitting mould. When a fitting has female threads, the threads are on the inside. The threads on a male-threaded fitting are on the outside. In other words, a male-threaded fitting can be screwed into a female-threaded fitting. There is no glue involved in these connections. Only Teflon tape keeps the connection in place. On the other end of many threaded fittings are slip fittings, which make it easier to connect them to a pipe.
