1. What is a Tee PVC Fitting Mould?

2. What is the Purpose of Tee PVC Fitting Mould?

Tee PVC Fitting Moulds are fittings with three ends; two in a straight line, and one at a 90-degree angle on the side. Tees connect two lines at 90 degrees to allow a line to be split into two parts. Similarly, tees can connect two lines together. These parts are also commonly found in PVC structures. Tees are incredibly versatile fittings and are among the most widely used parts in the plumbing industry. Typically, the ends of tees have slip sockets, but threaded versions are available as well.

T-shaped steel tees have three branches, usually one with equal tees and one with reducing tees (tee reducers), both of which are used to divide (combine) pipelines in order to adjust the flow rate and direction.

4. Define the Tee PVC Fitting Mould Manufacturing Process

Tee is manufactured by the hydraulic Bulge method. In the hydraulic die, a piece of pipe is cut and liquid is poured inside; hydraulic pressure pushes the branch out through the opening of the die. This method gives a smooth finish. This cannot, however, be used to produce thicker tees.

5. When Connecting Tee PVC Fitting Moulds, How Do You Do It?

For connecting PVC pipe to Tee PVC Fitting Mould:

  1. Slide a segment of PVC pipe into one of the ports of the Tee fitting.
  2. Place the pipe inside the Tee and push or tap until the stop is reached.

6. What is the Process for Assembling a Tee PVC Fitting Mould into Cement?

In order to ensure permanent and strong connections, it is recommended to use PVC cement when attaching the PVC pipe and Tee PVC Fitting Mould. Temporarily connecting this fitting can also be accomplished with a threaded screw inserted through where the pipe meets the fitting.

WARNING: PVC cement is permanent, and the PVC pipe cannot be removed from the fitting after 30 seconds. To ensure that all pipes are correctly cut, perform a dry fit. After seating, if necessary, you should make sure all your items are squared.

The PVC cement process consists of the following steps:

  • STEP 1

Apply a thin layer of PVC cement to the inside of the fitting only, using the PVC cement dauber inside the can. Place the cement only on the pipe and fitting where they will come into contact.

  • STEP 2

Make sure that the pipe is seated properly in the fitting. Make sure that it impacts the detent. Make sure the pipe and fitting are square, if needed, and hold them together for 30 seconds.

  • STEP 3

Make sure that you wait at least two minutes before putting weight or pressure onto the pipe/fitting connection. By doing so, the chemical weld will cure. As the cure time passes, you can connect other fittings to the structure.
